This is the very first book I have listened to on audio great book but I must admit I do prefer to read a book.
It’s nice to hear how Queenies life before she got married and had the children

I read this after reading all the Butler series and wasn’t sure whether I’d enjoy it, but I was wrong. It was gripping from beginning to the end. Another Kimberley Chamber’s success. And as always the excellent Annie Aldington narrates it.

So strange to have a good book with the main character been so unlikeable. Can’t help but want to know more about queenie and her family. Have read the 4 books after the prequel and hope their is a book 6 soon! After readying the first four it was refreshing to see how it all started and all during the war time which is a cafe cry away from the current book. Amazing and Kimberly chambers is my new Martina Cole. Would make an amazing series
