About this listen

"Fae wars don't end in surrender."

Emelin has finally found the bindings, the key to her victory. But to use them, she needs one last piece of the puzzle… and the only person who can give her that information is a stubbornly silent Thysandra.

An uncooperative captive is the least of Em's problems.

As the Mother prepares to strike, the magical world continues to squabble. Something ominous is plaguing Creon. Em's newfound powers come with a dark side she did not expect, forcing her to decide just how much she's willing to sacrifice for the fate of the world.

To find allies and gather the forces they need, Em and Creon have no choice but to face the shadows of their pasts. When disastrous secrets are revealed and the Mother finally deals her devastating blow… will they still have a future?

Queens of Mist and Madness is the thrilling conclusion to Em and Creon's epic enemies-to-lovers romance.

Enjoyed this story, way better than the first book lots more action.

The fmc is slightly cringe and I’m not a big fan of the Internal monologue as it is fairly repetitive, but the narrator clearly not being English and doing an exaggerated accent does not help this.

Definitely recommend this series and although I did find the narration a bit icky it was still good.Love the side characters development definitely made the story way more fun.

The story has been absolutely fantastic and as always Summer has done an impeccable work.

This was the better book out of the series, that being said it was very predictable at times. I liked the idea but not the execution of this story. I almost DNF the series on multiple occasions due to the repetitive internal monologue of the obnoxious fmc and slow pacing of the story. The secondary characters are where this storyline shines the most in my opinion.

Quality spice is always appreciated but in this case it felt off and was cringe at times.

The better book of the series.
