This book follows from Nickie meeting Molly from Ascension Myth Series by same Author's.
We get to see her grow in this series along with Tabitha Ranger Two starting to get over the loss of one of her colleagues which was discussed in the last Book in retelling her story to someone who'd lost her husband in war. In this book we get more views from Riu on how Tabitha's behaviour had devolved but we see her start to realise what she has been doing wrong through a series of mistakes.
