About this listen

A cultivation world destined for destruction. A man fated to destroy it. There's a prophecy to ignore.

Jim was thrust back in time, returned to his body at the moment he started cultivating. Anyone else might have given up, but Jim doesn't have that option. He's already made the mistakes that doomed him in his first life, and he knows what to do to make it right. Jim wants to right the wrongs of the past… or, future? All while a pair of angry gods torture him through lack of sleep.

He must find a way to reach the top of the cultivation world without drawing the attention of those who would take his knowledge of the future for themselves. Jim has seen how the world ended, and he is determined to fight his way through the world's hidden foes and defeat his destiny.

Weakened to merely a shadow of his former strength, he quickly learns that fighting alone may not be his best option, even though fate seems to like it that way.

Luckily for the world, Jim thinks fate is stupid. He doesn't care what it wants.

when you read comments you notice that some are annoyed the character is op and some even use the word murderhobo and that is fine and all, but don't forget this MC was literally at the top, 650 years, years of cultivation and battles, not some kid who suddenly found power, of course it's callous and thinks of the fastest way to deal with people, he is literally a general a technician and a cultivator for hundreds of years, in all the other cultivation books we see that being a cultivator is full of death just to get to the top, so why are people annoyed that the MC is overpowered? he literally had hundreds of years to improve and make himself like this.

Brilliant!

Best performance in a cultivation book so far with a protagonist that for the most part doesn't act like a idiot the main flaw I have is that and be warned minor spoilers ahead when parts of his secrets get revealed and stuff starts to get real instead of being like ok cats out of the bag now better step up he starts trying to hide his abilitys even more which ends up getting people killed or lets them make mistakes that get in the way of the plot if one of the targets of your mission is here and your surrounded by enemys showing the people treating you like a waste of space your stronger than them and you know what's going on is always the best idea

Best wuxia audiobook but still has flaws
