Summary

From the moment she’s struck by lightning as a baby, it is clear Mary Anning is marked for greatness. Wonderful book - completely absorbing with a great performance by Hattie Morahan whose voice is perfect for this narrative and these characters. Tracy Chevalier has taken a real, inspirational figure and written a fictional novel about her. Fascinating story - would absolutely recommend.
