This short story is an amnesia stepbrother romance.
Patrick is tormented nightly with erotic dreams of is stepsister Beth that have been becoming more frequent in the months following his fathers death. He's also overcome with jealousy now that the 19 year old beauty has confessed that she is pregnant but frustrated that she is refusing to name the father. Adamant to do right by his sister, he lures her off to the beach for the day and tries to pry the information out of her, but she becomes increasingly reluctant to answer his questions. When his possessive probing pushes too far, she finally snaps and lays out the bombshell... that during a drunken night after his fathers funeral, he sought solace in her arms and their mutual attraction took over, and she was now carrying HIS child. Choosing love over everything else, they take a chance on a happy future together.
