Or will a dark horse step in to muddy the picture? Mary's story is just perfect and quite different from that of her sisters. Her chosen husband is certainly no pushover. Excellent narration.

Delightful

I surprised myself. This is really not the kind of book I normally read but I found very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Terrific

A lovely story, undemanding and easy to listen to. A plausible development of the characters lives from Pride and Prejudice.
I would recommend!

Enjoyed this very much. An easy listen.

I’m an avid P&P fan and loved this story with Mary at the center. Beautiful narration. Totally absorbing! Delightful.

Just Wonderful

I enjoyed listening to this story having often wondered about what might happen to Mary. I found the American expressions horrifying (e.g. ‘pled’ ‘the fall’ for autumn) they grated on my ears but it was an easy listen.

A Fascinating Sequel
