Seldom is the sequel better than the first, but in this case, this book surpasses the first book in leaps and bounds. Highly recommend.

Its not often a sequel to a book can be better than the first. However, this book smashes the first one. The first book is mindblowing and unique to anything ive ever read. The sequel is the desert to the main course. I love how the author elaborates on a whole different view on heaven and hell and all that an afterlife could offer. This book is brutal and savage but anything but mindless. The ending of this book actually made the hair on the back of my neck stand up and call out 'wow'. I really hope there are more books in this series. I read at least 4 audio books a week and I now feel like im going to struggle to find something to enjoy after listening to this masterpiece. Bravo!

A fitting continuation of the Black Farm. This book creeped me out so much. It’s a talent that you can build a story with such vivid words that someone is scared by it. I put it down a few times, but needed to go back. (I’m easily scared, by the way). The narrator really fit the story.

So dark

My only gripe would be a certain scene involving a minor went a tiny bit too far with it’s descriptions but maybe that’s just me. Overall very enjoyable and would recommend for anyone who read part one.

Very enjoyable, great listen

Feels as satisfying as the first. Dilemmas aplenty. Gore and tough topics but you'd be used to that with the first book. Very visually descriptive and easy to picture. Excellent voice acting and narration yet again. Only one part I found disappointing involving a certain bunch of unfortunates. Still excellent all round however. Really do hope there will be more from this Author and hopefully more forays into the dark realm of The Black Farm. It's a world too full of potential to not explore at least a little more.

As good as the first
