Summary

Maxx Reynolds needs help.

His shop, house, and life are all in a state of disarray.

In desperation, he turns to the internet to hire a new employee, thinking it will make his life easier.

What he expects is a fellow named Charly. What he gets is a quirky, sassy redhead named Charlynn who runs circles around him.

And she's all woman. He can't stand her. He can't keep his hands off her, either.

Contains mature themes.

Good characters, good narrator’s, a find. Loved the grumpy Max , just like Charlie did. It was great that he never became a wuss, all drippy and such. This guy was proper.

Good writing

Melanie Moreland worked her magic again and left me wanting more!
It was a great story, something quite different and thoroughly engaging.
As ever narrators John & Maxine did an excellent job.
I rarely right reviews but when it comes to Melanie's books I feel drawn to.

Another Great Melanie Listen!

Ok… so if you love grumps and feisty redheads this is definitely the story for you. Young, determined woman shit out of luck answers an ad for a position as a assistant to a grumpy, betrayed by love, 10 years older mechanic and the rest is this great story told in awesome narration by two of my favorite narrators.

The characters are awesomely and carefully developed in great writing and perfectly portrayed and brought to life by the narrators. The story line flows easily and true to the genre it is a bit predictable but still interesting and laugh out loud funny from time to time.

I like stories like these were the relationship, all though not always easy peasy, still develops in a mature fashion and there isn’t some great misunderstanding that’s totally blown out of proportion that keeps the couple apart. That trope is a bit childish to me, I prefer these once that feel like grownups making smart decision and developing alongside each other. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still some excitement but it’s there to help the story and the main charters’ relationship move forward as suppose to just create a hurdle to get over.

Totally worth a listen.

OMG such a sweet story

Melanie did it again. I loved this story . hooked from start to finish. can't wait to read more books from her. this is my 3rd book of hers and so far my Favourite..also loved The contract . John Lane is just soo good as Maxx, his voice is perfection he definitely brought the character to life. Marine Mitchell's narration was also good but when she mimmicks Maxx it just didn't work for me ..however all in all great narration.

Hot & sexy, beautifully written
