I've been reading and re-reading this for donkey's years in paper form, so was delighted to find it unabridged in Audible. Its kept me entertained for weeks in the car. The characters in this are brilliant, and they haven't become the caricatures that some of the later books portray. I have real love-hate feelings for most of the characters, and get drawn in every time.

After having listened (and enjoyed) to Jump last year, I finally got around to listening to the first in this series. Although I'm not at all "horsey" I thoroughly enjoyed this. So many great characters. Really good value for money - its over 30 hours long,. Brilliantly read by Gerri Halligan .

my only regret is the whole of this series is not available ....come on Audible :-)
