Ring of Truth is dark, delicious, and enthralling. Doctor Darragh is quite a complex man, father, and partner. His instinct is spot on, and his attraction to Ana is off the chain. That he recognizes her for who she is and is determined to make her his regardless of their pasts and families is so hot. Watching them navigate their twisted web is so much fun, from the cozy family moments to the Irish mob and Russian bratva interplays.

This fast-paced novel is beautifully performed in duet by the various narrators, each of whom brings passion, emotion, and energy to their roles. Their voices are easy to listen to, engaging, and smooth. I loved every moment of this audiobook, and I can’t wait to dive into the others in this series! While this is not the first book in the series, it can be enjoyed as a stand alone.

I am not going into the story plot, which is amazing . The characters from Ana, Darragh , Cormac will pull you in from the vey start to the very end. Each one has strength , stubbornness and sweet mercy full on chemistry. War is going to happen and trust is in short supply. A new O’Rourke is coming into the world. Drama, angst , chemistry and spice that is nice and hot. A wonderful Mafia thriller, suspense, romance , covering the Irish , Italian and Russians.
Honestly sit back enjoy from the brilliant narration too the plot.

This is book 5 of Astoria Royals and is a standalone story and what a story it is. I love the crossover characters. You do not need to read the other books in the series to enjoy this one however I would recommend the other books because I love the series. It is a story full of danger, suspense, steamy scenes, romance and falling in love. When Ana runs away from home after her father arranges a marriage, she runs into her family's enemy. Now he kidnaps her only for her to become pregnant. The story really gets going after his twin bails her out of jail and takes her home. When Darragh goes to bail his twin out of jail he never expects to find Ana, the missing Bratva princess. What follows will capture your attention until the last chapter.

Lots of great mafia and bratva themes are covered. There is violence, crime and lots of strong alpha males. We see the strong relationships between Darragh and his brothers, especially his twin. There are also underlying themes of family and chosen family.

Both Darragh and Ana want to live outside of their respective families. I didn’t consider this an enemies to lovers story as they do not hate each other, it is their family heritage.

Darragh is easily engaging and attractive as the protective single dad. Ana is the abused bratva princess who challenges and brings out Darragh’s passion and possessive need to protect.

I loved and highly enjoyed and immersed myself in their story. The narrators did a wonderful job bringing Darragh, Ana and other characters to life. It’s a great addition to the series.
