This series continues to surprise me, and the overall storyline is one that truly hooks you and doesn’t let go. Each book builds on the last, making this one of those series you really need to read or listen to in order to fully appreciate the bigger picture.

This MC is made up largely of retired military members, and each man is dealing with his own battles and inner demons. One of my favorite aspects of the series is the strong sense of brotherhood and found family. It feels authentic, earned, and deeply rooted in shared experiences rather than just labels.

Riptide was an unexpected standout. At the end of the previous book, he shocked everyone by volunteering to go undercover inside a cult’s camp to rescue a woman he witnessed protecting a child from an abusive punishment. That moment alone set the tone for his story, and this book fully delivers on that promise. His character adds depth, heart, and a sense of quiet bravery that really resonated with me.

The narration was fantastic and brought the characters and emotions to life in all the right ways. I’m already counting down until the next book is released in audiobook form because I’m completely invested in this series now. This is an instant-buy series for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves layered MC stories with heart, grit, and a strong overarching plot.

Riptide is a man of layers, a MC member, chilled and laid back. Well that is until you cross him, then all bets are off. Sloane life has been different and difficult. She was was born and raised in a cult. Enduring punishment each time she steps out line and taking it for others. Wanting to leave, but unable to with taking the women and children with her.
It only takes one look and Riptide knows Sloane is his and in trouble. Mister laid back comes full protector and I mean will do anything to save her.
A relationship that is made from pain, trust and strength. Riptide may be a protector but he lets Sloane grow and find herself.

Oh Rip, what a story! He is all in when it comes to taking down a cult, but what he finds is so much more. After seeing Sloane take a punishment for someone else, he knew he had to do it. But he had to go in alone, and the danger there is real. So is the rewards. Sloane has dreamed of getting out of the cult, but she can't leave the others behind in the danger they are in. When Rip comes in, life begins to change. Can she trust her secret wish with him? And her heart? This is a fabulous listen, probably my favorite of Cole and Jensen's books. It has some heavy topics and is definitely a bit on the darker side, but the love that Sloane and Rip have make the sun shine through. This is a tough journey, but well worth it. Loved it!

Michael Norman Johnson and Phillipa Miller keeps this one moving. It's hard at times to hear, but these two find the nuances to make it dark and dangerous, and even spicy. I thought these two worked perfectly together, using their voices to make this real and wonderful.

Riptide is the third book in The Viking's Rampage MC: Tucson Chapter series. Sloane is being held captive by a cult in the desert. Riptide catches a glimpse of her and has to have her. That might not be that easy to accomplish. Riptide needs to become part of this cult to try and rescue Sloane. The only problem is, how is he going to earn her trust. I loved this book. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

Phillipa Miller and Michael Norman Johnson did an awesome job narrating this book.

This really does open your eyes to the craziness of this world. It’s a constant state of madness. There’s a lot of action and love in this book. A brilliant performance.
