I absolutely loved this! After enjoying Shield of Sparrows, I had high hopes, and this definitely didn’t disappoint. The story pulled me straight back in, and I really enjoyed the addition of Caspia’s chapters, even if it took me a while to figure out who she was!

The only thing missing for me was that big, jaw-dropping twist at the end—but honestly? I’m still hooked and already desperate for book 3!

Loved it, but we’re not finished yet!

I loved this book, so much. The way the little details kept consistently allowing you to piece together what had not yet been overtly stated, the weaving together of threads in such an elegant way - brilliant. The narration was on point too, allowed me to really immerse myself in the story (minus the pronunciation of chasm haha). I can't wait to get my hands on the next book.
