The first one I listened to was free I paid for the second one just like I will pay for the next two, to me they are brilliant the second one did not let me down. In my opinion fantastically written and very well narrated, can’t wait to start the third book. If you like Martina Cole books you will definitely like these 🫶🏾🥰

Picking up a story from a previous book can sometimes feel unconnected, but I quickly slipped back into Georgina and Jack's world.
Having taken to the drink, Georgina soon realises that the only way to keep her and her loved ones safe is to take the reins of the Wilcox Gang.
With her marriage to Lash imminent and her rivals hot on her heels, you wonder how long this formidable woman can feign from missing a bullet.
With several businesses to manage and demanding family situations, Michaels takes the reader on a Battersea-style 'Peaky Blinders' ride.
A great read.
I would recommend it.

Georgina Garrett is looking after her patch in Battersea a strong woman dealing with gangster crews and more. She is building up her empire and is also building up her enemies, things get very tricky for her in this instalment, she settles some scores and there are more to settle. I cannot wait for the next instalment. Sometimes the violence is not easy to read but I found myself engrossed in this unputdownable series.
