About this listen

Robinson Crusoe is Daniel Defoe's classic novel of shipwreck and survival, now nearly 300 years old.

The story is a fictional autobiography of the title character, an English castaway who spends 28 years on a remote tropical island, encountering Native Americans, captives, and mutineers. This is the tale of an ordinary man struggling to survive in extraordinary circumstances. Robinson Crusoe wrestles with fate and the nature of God.

This was a very interesting read about the history of the world and how the history has been influenced and how it is used to make the most sense in a way to help the people in need of help in a world where people have a sense and they have the power and will have a lot to say to the world and to help people

Amazing

What disappointed you about Robinson Crusoe?

The narrator sounds like he was moonlighting from the BBC newsroom of the 1950's Its not an easy diction to listen to in this century.. But very competent if you like that sound..brilliant story of course and the profits go the RNIB ..

If you like the 1950's
