About this listen

High-flying trader Dean Harrison has it all: the London penthouse apartment, the fast car, the beautiful wife. But when the threads of Dean’s life start to unravel, they do so with alarming speed. Following the advice of a frail stranger, Dean sets off for Welnetham Hall Hotel and is plunged into the mysterious world of room 119 - a world where nothing makes sense. How does everyone in the hotel know his name? Why does he travel there on a train line that shut down over 50 years ago? And who is the sinister man in black who pursues him wherever he goes? As he gradually pieces together the puzzle of Welnetham Hall, Dean is forced to reevaluate his life and realizes that nothing is more important to him than his wife and daughter. Desperate to get back to them, he vows he would lay down his life for the people he loves. It’s a promise he may have to keep.

I read this book a while back and it stuck with me for ages afterwards so I knew i would love the audible version. I was not disappointed, the narrator really brings the book to life and added extra dimensions to it

Brilliant

A really good listen. One of those rare books that do complete the entire story to a conclusion. At first I was sceptical of the narrator Jade McLean voicing the lead male character, however I was wrong, Jade McLean had a fantastic reading performance, adopting a Yorkshire accent and London accent with convincing eloquence. Thoroughly enjoyed this audible book and will look out for other books by T F Lince and those narrated by Jade McLean

A good listen, a rare book hat completes the story

Having read this book last year, I was pleased to see it being released on audiobook. This is an excellent story and the characters memorable. Where some of the dialogue from the book was quite clunky when reading (authors first book so can be forgiven), the narrator smoothes this out and makes it more enjoyable. Will stay with you for some time to come.
