After four years of secret meetings and stolen moments, I finally plucked up the courage to confess my feelings.
Instead of admitting the same, he chose to humiliate me in front of the world, betraying me in the process.
The internet coined me the Runaway Girl. But all he wanted was for me to run back to him.
I left him in my rearview and never planned on turning back. If only he kept to his word and stayed there.
Runaway Girl is a second-chance, betrayal romance with an HEA. It is the second book in the Sin & Redemption interconnected novella series. It can be enjoyed as a standalone.

What I liked most was that Alicia isn’t a pushover. She holds her ground, keeps her boundaries, and doesn’t let Ethan win her back too easily. I also appreciated Ethan’s growth; his effort to take responsibility and work on himself felt genuine rather than overly dramatic.
That said, the writing style still isn’t fully for me, and I never felt completely emotionally invested in the story. But overall, I did enjoy this more than the first book, and there were definitely moments that worked well for me.
Dual narration style.
