Summary

Elorion is back from the vampire realm.

Aeris and the girls have returned from training. The Head Mistress was true to her word. She kept them alive for a purpose.

Joining the succubi has gained Elorion and Aeris an illusionary freedom at best, and it will come at a heavy price.

There is no safety without power. No future without strength. Soon, they'll be leaving for the succubi capital. Sanctuary must progress or be abandoned.

Will it become a city on a shining hill or be extinguished forever?

love the series, it's the one that got me into litrpg in the first place and about time the authors gave us another book in this series we need more

about time

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

the plot is nowhere near the last books. there is to much love fluff between main characters, tgat delivers cringe and some how zero depth to the main characters love or otherwise. it makes up about 50% of the book the 8hrs it steals would have been better put to use exploring the new area and adding a bit more depth to the factions of the world and building to the main story.

I'm really gutted as I loved all the previous books.
it did not even touch the wave of excitement i felt when I saw this book was released. I'm left now with a long wait for the next book and a worrie it might be like this one not worth the money.

NO STORY

It’s been along wait for this one, loved the first books and in my opinion this book picks up the storyline and moves it forward for the next arc. I really like Apollos world building. Definitely recommend

Great story

I enjoyed the majority of this book. There's a feeling throughout that the protagonist is Goku sitting on clouds and trying to figure out how to Super Saiyan. However... he is also perpetually dogged by being an endlessly horny White Knight, some bizarre sexual assaults, and repeated lectures that come out of nowhere declaring that marrying teenage kids is OK. This constant creepy misogyny and horniness undermines an otherwise interestingly built story and universe.

Exciting Escalation but Unnecessarily Horny

i couldn't get past first half of the book but with pain i pushed on... its almost all about romance and relationships between the main and side characters. The characters lost any interesting traits from previous books and are just boring.
The monotone and lack of emotions in the way the book is read don't help it at all. It was making me sleepy.
I was finding myself wanting to skip forward while listening to another pointless romance bit many times but now i know it wouldn't help as the fights and growth parts are just "grind" with little to no impact on the story.
We could have a line "In last x months main characters relationship grown stronger and they each gained many levels and some new skils" as summary of all there was in this book.
I won't be continuing listening to this series. A shame it was going well until now...

Boring. changed into romance book.
