From the author of Audible's Thriller of the Year, Silent Child, comes another psychological thriller to keep you guessing until the very end. Well narrated and full of enthusiasm from the narrator, the story was really good, unexpected, however if I was to recommend a novel by Sarah A. Denzil, my first recommendation would still be “Silent Child”, this title happens to be the second story from Sarah that I’ve listened to, I’ll definitely be purchasing more.

Good read.

The definition between characters is unclear and confusing to the listener. I did not enjoy the story

I couldn't fault Sophie McShera's narrating. It was lovely to hear the good old northern accent by a genuine northener in an audiobook.
The story was good but not as 'twisty and turny' as I expected so I felt a little let-down when I noticed there was only 57 minutes to go and realised there wasn't much time left for anything else to happen.
Nevertheless it was still a good story to listen to with a very gasp-worthy final few seconds...

Lovely Northern narration. Good story.

How to feel about it. The narrator was a bit weak and low voiced but to cover the different persona might have been right to be. But there was no distinction who was talking and the up and down of the voice was constantly the same and became very irritating for my liking. It still kept me going as I wanted to know how the story would entangle itself. During the reading I got used to the voice and think it might be the only way to really deal with that story as it develops within the persons and then rotated towards them and back. If you give it a chance and not give up too quickly it’s worth to finish it I discovered finally.
