Summary

When a killer closes in, there's only one way to stay alive. Say You're Sorry is the gripping first book in a brand new series from Sunday Times bestselling author Karen Rose.

A serial killer is on the loose in California, leaving letters carved into the torsos of his victims.

When Daisy Dawson fights off a masked attacker one night, she grabs a necklace from around his neck. What she doesn't know then is that she's found the missing link to a cold case that Special Agent Gideon Reynolds has been tracking for seventeen years. With Daisy's help, he finally has the opportunity to get closer to the truth than ever before.

But it soon becomes clear that Daisy's attack was just the beginning. Now the bloodied bodies of young women are showing up all over the state. As Gideon tries to track down the killer, it's clear he has a new target. Daisy is in more danger than they ever could have realised....

Loved the story and the characters but totally spoiled by the narrator.
It’s putting me off buying the second book 😔

Dreadful narrator !

Hmm. Book is OK. I find these books easy to listen to. I'm not sure the narrator is the best voice type for this. It's not easy to portray the females without them sounding like camp men I guess. But why does he also always sound like he's going to burst into tears? He's probably better at other genres.

Unsure narrator is best for this style of novel

The story is so good, but the narrator pulls me out of it often. From making the killer sound like an old man at times, to making a lot of the women sound awful, I would much prefer he not try to put on a "girl voice" it's so weird.

This narrator is awful

Karen Rose always give you an amazing story but it's spoilt by the story teller. his voices blend in to one and it gets so confusing!!! for me it made it so hard to figure out who was talking.

brilliant story, awful storytelling
