I absolutely love magic schools in books, and the added anxiety of her being spotted adds layers to the enjoyment

Enjoyed this one more than the first. only one part that I found really irked me, how a certain character is caught out abusing both his skill and authority and yet let off with little more than a warning. His behaviour is petty, demeaning, abusive and predatory and it goes against the described character of everyone present to let him off this way. No doubt he will continue to be annoying in the next one.
