About this listen

Meet a robot poet, a ghost ferret named Alfonso, a barbarian who dreams of a quiet life, a brave knight whose noble steed is a donkey, and MANY more delightfully quirky characters!

From laugh-out-loud adventures to sweet twists and touching moments, Scrapbook of Dreams is the perfect book to enjoy on your own or listen to with others.

WARNING: Some of the stories will leave you with a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. And you'll find it almost impossible not to giggle at the stupendously silly poems.

What an enjoyable two hours listening to this was. Such a fab collection of short stories and poems that are for children and adults alike.

My favourite story was the last one, Toy Dog, who was so cute and had such amazing adventures. He’s more travelled than most people I know! The narrator was great, so eloquent and easy to listen to, will certainly look out for more narrated by him.

If you’re looking for something easy to listen to with your kids, or even on your commute that’s light and will be done by the time you get home, have a listen to this one.

My 7 year old daughter, Peighton listened to this audio book at night before bedtime. When I asked her what she liked about it she said:

“I like how there was loads of different stories in it. My favourite story was the one where Lucy floats up into the village in her bed with the water. I liked that I got to listen to it myself and it wasn’t mum or dad or me reading it and it helped me go to sleep”.

This was our first time trying an audio book with Peighton and it gave me and her dad a few nights off reading her books. She is already asking for another audio book and I fear I’ll have to share my audible credits with her now!

A fantastic introduction to audio books for children!

An enjoyable collection of stories and poems for children that really inspires the imagination.

There is something for everyone in this book, from poet robots to tiny dogs and ghosts.

All the chapters are quite short so it is really easy to dip in and out of as you please. I would say this is a great little book for parents and children to enjoy together.

In the audio I loved the narrator who brought all the stories and poems to life.

Great children’s book
