Having read this book yers ago and having listened to this and the third book in the series on audible, I just discovered Die For Me on audible and started listening to whole the series again. Although the subject matter becomes very dark, the série is excellent. I think the books are better listened in order but could be as stand alone.

Terrible narrator, I’ve listened to most of Karen Rose’s books, but struggled with this one because of the poor narration.

I've read a lot of Karen Rose books but since joining audible I've not enjoyed the books I've listened to. For a start I really dislike the narrator Tara wood she was not good at reading or doing accent's she was one of the reasons that spoiled the book and the romantic bits of the book where just awful really awful, I don't think Karen is a very romantic person and it shows in her books . The story was very good but weak in some parts
