The breathtaking conclusion to one of the most exciting and imaginative series of all time.

Otherland - a display of mankind's extraordinary intellect, a multidimensional universe built by the geniuses of the 21st century and controlled by the private cartel known as the Grail Brotherhood, powerful and ruthless.

But now Otherland is out of control.

Fleeing through broken realities, a small band of adventurers struggle to avert the nightmare that Otherland could become. The only hope may lie in an alliance with their enemy. But time is running out - and Otherland's most terrifying secret is yet to be revealed.

I've listened to this series back to back for the past 2 months. In the beginning, I just couldn't work out what was happening, but I persevered and soon became engaged in the characters and the story.
I have to admit, there were passages where I glossed over bits where I may have missed a bit, but it was never an issue. it's a bit like Tolkien at times, very descriptive.
But the overall story carried me through; the characters are fully formed, with a very few of them feeling a bit one-dimensional, but it was fitting for the place they were set.
And this final book! the ending had me in tears, it was incredibly emotional without being sappy.
I will listen to it all again one day, and enjoy visiting old friends.

Just wonderful

One does not pick up a lengthy Tad Williams at his best series, without investing so very much in his fleshed out characters. This fantastical science fiction concludes with this fourth novel. Every detail is crafted beautifully by him and the last books ending is lavished with as much time and art in just the same way his first book does with its page turning beginning.

Tad Williams at his best.

I cannot overstate how wonderful this was. The story, the acting, anything. Thank you for recording this!
