About this listen

Before he was Ciri's guardian, Geralt of Rivia was a legendary swordsman. Season of Storms is an adventure set in the world of the Witcher, the book series that inspired the hit Netflix show and bestselling video games.

Geralt. The witcher whose mission is to protect ordinary people from the monsters created with magic. A mutant who has the task of killing unnatural beings. He uses a magical sign, potions and the pride of every witcher - two swords, steel and silver.

But what would happen if Geralt lost his weapons?

Andrzej Sapkowski returns to his phenomenal world of the Witcher in a stand-alone novel where Geralt fights, travels and loves again, Dandelion sings and flies from trouble to trouble, sorcerers are scheming ... and across the whole world clouds are gathering.

The season of storms is coming...

More Geralt stories is always a good thing, even if this novel isn't the best in the series. The story never seemed to quite link up as well as it should have, and some of the humor was a little more slapstick than the deadpan we are used to but its still a must read for fans of the series.

Not the best in the series, but great to hear more

I may be in the minority but I thought this was the best of The Witcher books

A good collection of short stories read by Peter Kenny who always brings the Witcher books to life with amazing narration.

Absolutely loved it. The story, the lore, the excitement of the next short story and of course the outstanding performance from the narrator. Such a good book. I'm recommending it to all my friends and family and I'm definitely going to purchase each book from the Witcher series.

couldn't have loved it any more

Peter Kenny delivers another stunning performance in yet another excellent Witcher book. The story goes along at a perfect pace and is yet again full of loss, humour and excellent times with a cast of characters I have grown to love. Eagerly looking forward to further works in the Witcher universe.

Made me sad, but in a good way
