Another brilliant book in this absorbing series. What a wonderful team. Love listening these despite how ridiculous the amount of serial killers there are in that area.

This is the twelfth book out of fifteen so far in the ‘Detective Nikki Galena Mysteries’. In this instalment, an unusual discovery is made: two young people have been found dead, and their bodies are staged. On the surface, it appears to be a lovers’ suicide pact, but as DI Nikki Galena and DS Joseph Easter investigate, they uncover something more sinister at play.

When another young couple are discovered, the detectives begin to realise that the killer or killers are not the usual suspects. As they delve deeper into the investigation, they find out that someone close to them is missing. As the days roll on they fear that that person is in danger, Nikki and Joseph can do without the distraction.

This gripping story is hard to put down, and it will leave you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
