As a total perfectionist, I always thought I delayed projects because I didn't care enough, but this book exposed it as a self-protection mechanism putting things off so I can use the excuse of "not having enough time" instead of facing my true limits. The section on the "B-minus work strategy" was worth the price of admission alone; giving myself permission to just write a messy, average first draft completely lowered my anxiety and got me moving. I also appreciated the chapter on self-forgiveness, which points out that beating yourself up for wasting time just creates a negative feedback loop that makes you procrastinate more to escape the guilt. The narration is direct, science-backed, and filled with actionable frameworks rather than toxic positivity. If you feel stuck in a loop of constant delay.
