I have used Chapter 2 of this audio for years both to get over illnesses and after surgery. Be aware that Doctor Rossman has a very calming voice that can pleasantly help you drop off to sleep. If that’s your intention use audible's sleep timer at about 20 minutes from the start of each session as they do have a 'wake up call' at the end. Having just gifted this to my sister after surgery I feltvitcwas time to recommend this excellent audio production

The subject matter, guided imagery, is well explained in chapter 1, and the three samples of the technique are nicely done. But because the material is divided into just two chapters, it's not that easy to find what you want. Dividing chapter 2 into three sections would have been much more useful. Chapter 1 is rather lengthy and could also have been usefully subdivided.
