The story included several bickering arguments that were tedious. The plot line was not as exciting as the earlier stories.
Narration made the Mitch Rapp character seem more irritable and less cool.

This audio book is great the story is fast paced and Mitch Rapp is a truly unique character. The problem is Ken Kliban, his narrative is bland and he made a couple of speech errors (not many you understand but the ones he did were very easy to avoid).
Overall it's a great story slightly let down by the narration.

What made the experience of listening to Separation of Power the most enjoyable?

As usual Fylnn excels in involving the reader with the intrigues of its characters. This book concludes a number of plot elements left hanging by its predecessor The Third Option.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Bit too long for me to listen to in one sitting, but certainly found it thoroughly absorbing.

great story and narration with satisfying plot

The story is okay. The dialogue, particularly between the two main characters, is very amateurish. It could have been taken from a High School essay. I found myself cringing frequently throughout the book. The narration is shockingly bad. The voices are inconsistent and the tone and volume pay no attention to the context, for example, a private and secret conversation on the plane is read as if Mitch and Anna are shouting at each other. Rapp, a sophisticated, intelligent, worldly assassin, comes across as a whiny schoolboy. Anna, a Whitehouse correspondent, as a silly and petulant school girl. This will be my last Mitch Rapp novel. Pity.

Awful narration - angry throughout . Really spoiled any enjoyment that I might have got from the story - also mispronounced names of established characters and various items to an annoying degree.
