There is a few twists but this book was a slow burn. The story itself is a about 3 hours long so its not a huge demanding book if you need a short book for a journey and dont want to invest a huge amount of time.
Easy to pick up and put down, the plot was not too difficult to follow.
There was no cliff hanger or second book you need to purchase.

This book is full on non stop action packed! There isn’t any part of this storyline that will have you taking a breath. Good characters and a great narration from Victoria.

This book was a bit to fast paced and left me confused at times. You should definitely not get distracted when you listen to this book or you will be lost!

The narrator has given each character a voice, she has definitely perfected the Jamaican accent. She did great with keeping her tone suspenseful throughout!

This was a rough one for me to review because it just wasn't one of my favorite's of Nicole Higginbotham-Hogue.

I felt maybe Nicole was trying to put too much in a limited amount of space and time. I was trying very hard to follow the storyline, many times it just didn't jive with what was happening at the moment. I've listened to other novels by Nicole and had enjoyed them.

The narrator Victoria Robinson I hadn't listened to her before, so I would like to hold my review to her reading to another book.
