I hadn't even read the blurb, so the development of the story was quite a surprise for me.

a touching story that has enough story arcs and things going on to keep you interested.

the narrator did a great job too, will definitely continue with this series.

Fantastic story with brilliant characters. The story and plot are awesome. I couldn't stop listening. Mr Patmore's narration, as aways, is superb bringing the characters to life. I am hoping there is another in series.

A historical novel read like a fairy story . With voice characterisation to match. Had to give up after two chapters so can't comment on how good the author may be.
