Summary

No longer on her home turf, she faces new challenges, new enemies . . .

And dragons. Yes. Dragons.

"My name is Rylee, and I am a Tracker."

When children go missing, and the Humans have no leads, I'm the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot.

O’Shea is AWOL, and Tracking him is proving to be harder than I expected.

Not to mention the small fact that I have the Beast of Bodmin Moor chasing me across Europe, in a race against the odds, and my life as the prize.

But those things are minor compared to the secrets that finally come to light.

Secrets I wish had stayed hidden in the darkness . . . .

Another exciting, fast paced, adventure. An easy, enjoyable listen.

The narrators do a good job of evoking the story.

This installment in the Rylee Adamson series pulled me in right from the start and kept me hooked all the way through. The story followed Rylee, a Tracker who is called in when children go missing and there are no other leads. In this book, she was dealing with the disappearance of O’Shea while being hunted across Europe, all while uncovering dangerous secrets that added emotional weight to the story. The stakes felt higher than ever, and the pacing kept things engaging throughout.

What really stood out to me in this audiobook was the narration. The female narrator did an excellent job bringing Rylee’s strength, determination, and vulnerability to life. Her performance made it easy to stay connected to the character and the intensity of the story. The male narrator had fewer chapters, but his voice added a strong presence, and I found those sections especially engaging.

I also enjoyed how the story balanced action, mystery, and character development. The relationships continued to grow, and the introduction of new characters added more depth to the world. There were moments of tension and emotional reveals that made the story feel immersive without being overwhelming.

Overall, this was a very enjoyable audiobook experience. The combination of strong storytelling and engaging narration made it hard to stop listening. If you enjoy urban fantasy with a determined main character, high-stakes situations, and solid narration, this is definitely worth checking out.
