I absolutely love these books, but I have a hard time with the female narrator here, she sounds constipated and it's really annoying.

This second book was a little slower paced than the first, I'm not going to lie, but it doesn't take from the overall perfection of this duo! Dark romance through and through, not for the faint of heart! Delicious! The writing skills are also a golden point! Remarkable!

i didnt love the first books, but i really enjoyed the second book. there's more of a story. I like how the characters develop. very sad at the end.

I thought book 1 was brutal but brilliant… book 2 is just simply brutal. That ending completely broke me.. I was sobbing for the entire hour. 😭 (Until I got annoyed that the other two characters went back to their lives as if nothing just happened? Life altering event in one chapter with heartbreaking tragedy, then sex as if nothing happened in the next chapter?)

The description says HEA… there certainly was no happily in that ending. I only decided to purchase these because it mentioned HEA. If I knew how tragic it would end, I wouldn’t have purchased. HEA should be scrubbed from the description - unless in some divine miracle there will be a 3rd book with ***’s return..? One can dream 🥺. Please give us another book or two in this series.. I’m so attached I can’t even 😂

The two books as a whole were nothing less than amazing …If you can handle reading tragic loss - or maybe just skip the end 🥲
