Well, I got to chapter 45 before giving up!
I think the story was ok. It was hard to tell because the narration was awful.
It was just a monotonous tone throughout.
Shame, because I was looking forward to it.

I wish i knew this book was about child abuse and paedophilia because i would not have listened to it. It is really quite a harrowing read and i would have skipped it had i known.

Excellent story

A difficult subject to tackle in a novel, but written with inside knowledge of police procedure, judging by the details given. Good characterization. My only quibble would be that the reader could differentiate more between the various characters, as the narrative moves between the various persons involved, and just by listening, it was sometimes hard to tell when there was a change of scene. Worth listening to.
