I enjoyed this book. I really like the characters , Logan and Harper. Both are broken but some how heal each other. Harper's husband was not a.good guy. so she ran. Logan also had demons to overcome.
a couple of disappointing things. I was so tired of hearing Sugar coming out of Logan. it was way over used. It seemed like every thing dragged on. but when her husband found her , it wasn't until the last couple of chapters. I felt like ending was hurried. didn't say much other than Drew was in jail. It didn't feel like it was closed.

now to narrators..
Gregory Salinas was amazing. I enjoyed his chapters. wish he did the whole book. he had a smooth calmness to it.

Stacy Gonzalez was a new voice. Sad to say her voice n left me cringing at times especially the fluctuations. Not sure if it was the story or trying to hard. I look forward to listening to another book by her.

Harper and Logan's was a heartfelt story. It was well written, emotional and in all a good experience. I think I will look out for A.K. MacBride's books in the future. Good storyline great characters, well done.
I liked the narration too. I felt Gregory Salinas did a better job though in conveying emotions through his voice.

After suffering years of abuse from her policeman husband Sarah finds out she’s pregnant and decides to run.
She changes her name to Harper with the help from a women’s refuge and ends up in Willow Creek where she gets a job working in a vets for Chase Jackson. She also lives next door to his brother Logan who she has the hots for but is unaware he feels the same about her. Lovely clean romance with an HEA both narrators were perfect .
