Magic runs in the family. Unfortunately, chaos is Paige’s specialty.

When Paige Turner inherits her mother Reed’s knack for attracting magical disasters, she also inherits her mother’s unfinished business—protecting a library of dangerous magical artifacts and keeping the world safe from things better left shelved.

Armed with quick wit, questionable luck, and a snarky teacup dragon named Dewey, Paige faces an ever-growing list of problems: magical artifacts, vengeful undead, interdimensional mishaps, and more surprises than she’s ready for.

But it’s not just about survival. Somewhere in the chaos lies the key to rescuing her mother, Reed, whose mysterious disappearance left Paige to pick up the pieces. As she fends off magical calamities and shadowy enemies, Paige learns that protecting the world isn’t just about wielding power—it’s about finding herself along the way.

This complete series includes all eight laugh-out-loud books and the prequel novella that started it all. If you love slapstick humor, quirky characters, and fantasy worlds brimming with unpredictable magic hidden just below the real world's surface, Shelving Magic is your next binge obsession.

Get ready to laugh, gasp, and cheer as Paige turns magical mishaps into heroic triumphs—one disaster at a time.

I really enjoyed the series. It was one unbelievable thing after another. It's definitely aimed at a younger audience but I enjoyed it even though I'm only young at heart.
Did feel the series ended quite abruptly but what can you do?
For some light hearted entertainment I would recommend this series

Just for fun

Only thing I found bit annoying was increasingly more petty & childish banter between Page who was supposed to be 34yrs old & dewey the dragon (380yrs) - a real poor example of a 'best friend' relationship - this could be left out & not spoil story - the rest of story was great & I did listen to all 8 books!

I did enjoy storyline!

really enjoyed this series, funny and light hearted . The characters were quirky and the the heroine was so left footed
you wonder what mess she'd get into next

Love the world and the story, but as she is constantly told, Page is a bigot, an idiot, and an intitaled Karen, who generally believes she knows more about history and other cultures than the people who live there, and just because they are in her way, laws, traditions, and other people's feelings and opinions should be ignored.

She has made her way through life on Shere Nepatisum alone, and seriously believes that this is normal, but when other people question her or use knowledge and authority they have earned through a lifetime of work, that is cheating, or wrong. No one is allowed to be better than her, or she will break down and cry.

another in a line of books with Female MCs who really believe the world owes them for existing, and break down like the children they are when adversity hits, then blame others when they try and help because I am independent, even if you do all the work for me.

Lear to read, a room

Good box set for night time not because it’s boring but just a nice series of tales that you can pick up and put down ongoing long underlying story but lots of little side adventures and some fun characters concept of a teacup dragon appealed for sure

Easy listening
