this book exceeded all my expectations! the mystery, the intrigue, the tension.. and that slow burn!!! seriously, I cant do this book justice. it was definitely worth the wait and I have never enjoyed having my heart broken into tiny little piece multiple times so much in my life.
Saffron Coomber did an amazing job at narrating the audiobook too, she puts so much emotion into the words.. and her voice for levan was devilishly good 😈🖤
I cannot wait for book two because that cliffhanger destroyed my mental wellbeing!!

couldn't stop listening to this book, ive already purchased the hardcover copy as well the story is so intriguing and captivating with hint of spice. really cant wait for the next one in the saga

I'd heard that this was a romantasy and I was a bit dubious about it, but it's a dark mobster fantasy with rich, complex world building and an interesting magic system. Best thing I've read/listened to in ages!

loved the book but the ending was not necessary, damn if at 22:00 was the reality, that would have been perfect.

This book had me hooked from the very first page! The magic system is so unique and seriously cool. I couldn’t get enough of it.

What truly stood out, were the relationships. The emotional complexity and moral conflicts between characters made everything feel grounded and real, even in a world full of magic.

Laura’s writing flows effortlessly off the page, vivid, immersive, and full of heart. Silvercloak is another incredible story from her, and I already know I’ll be rereading it while I wait (impatiently!) for the sequel.

If you love morally grey characters, fresh magic systems, and immersive storytelling, this one’s for you.
