At last a 'midlife book' that doesn't sound like teenage brats! I've tried other fantasy books about middle aged women (because i'm an old fart) but they all seem to act like teenagers that are swooning over some some really hot vamp/werewolf/magical chap and constantly moaning about bladder control, being old and out of condition.... or fat. News alert! 40 is not at death's door!
Yes there is romance but thankfully no soft porn. instead it concentrates more on friendships between slightly older women. These are a group of fun stories and quite easy listening.

This was really easy and entertaining. I enjoyed myself all the way.
It was refreshing to read about a woman in her 40's instead of a 18 year old virgin.
I really recommend this book!
