Chaz Perrone has just found a way to make a fortune out of the Florida Everglades, and he's damned if anyone's going to stop him. So when he suspects that his wife, Joey, is going to get in his way, he takes her on an expensive anniversary cruise and pushes her overboard into the night-dark Atlantic.

Unfortunately for Chaz, Joey survives the fall and is plucked from the ocean by a former cop, Mick Stranahan. Joey decides to stay dead and screw with Chaz until he screws himself.

Excellent narration by Mr. Harding, brilliant characters and outrageously funny. I have listened and read to most of Carl's books and they are always brilliant.

At first I wasn't sure I could listen to a book read by "Reacher" (I have the whole series on audible), but Jeff really outdid himself. The narration was excellent indeed. I devoured the whole book in 2 days and wished it could've been longer.

Loved every minute of it - made that much better by the awesome narrator Jeff Harding. His ability to act different characters even women - is second to none. All in all a wonderful read/listen. Highly recommended.

Story is incredible! Some fun/crazy twists and unexpected moments and characters, will make you laugh, cry and frustrated (at the true to life facts dropped into the plot). A really easy listen but never boring, will be listening too many more times for sure!

This is a nice easy listening book with plenty of twists and turns. Many of the characters are larger than life and the although the book is good fun to listen to it makes some important points about the preservation of swamps in Florida.
