some sentences are far too long, even for a relatively competent language student. the country is also landlocked, so no need to ask where the beach is. other than these, it's quite good.

only deserves a 4 star

It’s just a spoon-feeding phrase book, doesn’t teach you about creating sentences, or basics, just jumps straight into ‘English word-Slovak translation’.

Had to stop listening after a few minutes as I wasn’t remembering anything. Not for me and I doubt for anyone wanting to realistically learn Slovak.
