I loved all of it.I've been a survivor of attempted strangulation & Sydney encapsulated all that I felt, plus the hunt for his other victims. like her, I don't consider myself as a victim, but a survivor. Sadly I don't have a "Noah", but I do have my dog.

I loved this book. it had a lot going on, and was probably obvious in some places, but still great! The narrator was good, just some sentences seemed to move into each other really quickly.

Enjoyable for what it was. Sydney was dealt a rough hand but she was the hero in her own story. I never felt like Noah was really an important character. The dog was probably the best thing about it.

I just could quite get into it. The story is quite original, and the suspense towards the end was thrilling. Unfortunately, the beginning was a bit boring and our fmc was so full of self loathing, even after 10 years that I just couldn’t stand her. Luckily it didn’t last too long and she eventually turned it around.
Overall a good book and an interesting story. And great narration.

I loved the fact that this story just flowed. I’ve never heard of this author previously and was looking for something different to listen to and was happily surprised when I came across this as I love true crime and crime fiction but this was a lighthearted take on it with a little bit of a love story. Overall it flowed really well and I would listen to other stories by this author and reader just because of how much I liked this one.
