About this listen
Liam Parker is a single dad navigating the chaos of life with his twelve-year-old son, Jack, in a world that seems determined to make things harder for them. Between juggling work, parenting, and the lingering scars of his past, Liam has little time for himself—until a chance encounter at Mocha & Magic, a quirky local cafe, introduces him to Quinn Maher, the enigmatic owner with a penchant for kindness and a complicated history of his own.

Liam is a single dad of a trans kid, and he's definitely not looking for love. Not even when the barista (technically the cafe's owner) he was checking out gives him his number. It must be about business.
This generally cozy romance comes with a few heavy topics, so some readers might want to take a look at the CWs on the author's website. I, for one, was very happy with how they were handled.
I personally bumped a little on certain fem terms used to describe a trans man's anatomy but that's probably just me.
On the whole, this book is lovely and Oliver Williams's narration is wonderful to listen to. I'll definitely look into both his and the author's back catalogs.
Great narration!
