About this listen

In the heart of Arizona, nestled among the red rocks and lush orchards, two vastly different worlds collide.

When Lori Hawthorne trades her high-powered city life for the unexpected inheritance of her late aunt's neglected fruit farm in Sedona, Arizona, she soon realizes that mending a broken orchard is only half the battle. Seeking a chance to rewrite her story, she's determined to breathe new life into both the farm and her own existence.

Gemma Walker, newly released from prison, is searching for a fresh start and a chance to rebuild her life. When a unique rehabilitation program brings her to Rosefield Farm, she finds solace in the nurturing routine of farm life and the unexpected kindness of her new employer.

As Gemma grapples with her past and Lori unearths family secrets, an unlikely love blossoms and they're reminded that even in the harshest landscapes, hope can take root and flourish.

Had me literally cry and laughing along. Characters are beautifully written out that I was completely captured

Songbirds of Sedona is a nice love story albeit predictable. I have given it 4 stars across the board which is perhaps a little generous but anything less would of been harsh. I'm not sure about the use of two narrators especially when they took on both MC's throughout (which definitely didn't work) !

This is an excellent story of surviving the past and learning to accept that we can move on, and learn to live again. A beautiful emotional journey of discovery and hidden truths.
Inheriting a farm with no capital is not easy, so she agrees to take on a gal who is on parole to help out. This works out far better than she expected in more ways than one.
Released from prison after serving her time for murder, she starts to fall in love with her employer, and her new life is looking up.
Excellent narration that is a pure joy to listen to, a delightful story.🎶

the main characters have lived different and difficult lives before meeting, both afraid of another relationship, they are wary of each other while working together, both trying to rebuild thier lives.
as feelings grow and stories of thier pasts are revealed, common ground is found in thier relationship with thier own mothers, both want answers and possible reconciliation.
an excellent story set in a beautiful area, and narrated by two extremely talented narrators.

This novel is about 2 women (and their mothers) who have pasts that need to be overcome. The setting of the fruit farm works well and somehow enhances the tenderness that seeps through the entire story despite the traumas of the past.
