Be aware that the whole book is narrated by the female narrator who does a good job but with a strong American accent. Tim Campbell only performs during the last 5 min of the book which is a real shame as he is my favourite narrator.

This book took me by surprise , I didn't expect such a gripping story and the way it was read I thought was excellent.
It is I feel a very well constructed story , in the way it builds up the emotion of the two main characters and in doing so it builds up the readers need to hear the outcome . I hope that I've been able to explain this properly as I don't want to give the impression that it's anything other than a bit of escapism and that's all .

I liked the world setting. I might not be super detailed, but it gives you enough to create a good and smooth story.
I loved that I found a friends to lovers like story, which I find a gem and I needed.

I will certainly continue listening/reading these books when I can.
