Yet another cracker of an audiobook from Chelle Bliss. Spark is the story of Nick Gallo and Josephine (Jo) Carmichael. They stumble upon each other at a late night taco stand and although there was friction between them at the start, Nick wins Jo over with his good manners and charm. Jo manages to do what no other girl has done before; make Nick want to slow and settle. Their love is fast and dirty and I loved every minute of it. A sprinkling of action, some guns, an uptight Hollywood mother, the Gallo clan (in all their crazy, funny glory) and Christmas in August make for a great love story that will keep you turning those pages or listening until the wee hours.

The narrators smashed this one. Lance Greenfield gave us Nick and he showed us his hard exterior but also his soft centre and his need to protect and love Jo. He shows her what family truly means. Samantha Brentmoor, fast becoming my favourite female narrator is able to unpack Jo’s vulnerability and her journey to resilience and strength in the face of danger and a cold family upbringing.

I’m now in the biggest book hangover as I have to wait for the next book in the series. I have really enjoyed bingeing these books. Fantastic stories with stellar narration. Can’t wait for Ember due out at the end of next month.

oh god I loved this series, it gets better and better. Nick and Joe are fantastic, it's well worth listening to and deserves 5* and more, cant wait for the next book x

I can't help but get swept up in The Gallo Family. I hadn't listened to an audiobook with Lance Greenfield in so long and oh, how I missed his voice. He embodied every delicious inch of Nick Gallo, making my skin heat and my body ache. I always love Samantha Brentmoor, her sultry, with just the right amount of sass and strength, voice gave life to Jo and I couldn't get enough. I got lost in their voices and Chelle's words.

Nick Gallo was a bit of a bad boy growing up. He got into a little bit of trouble but his family always had his back and let him pursue what made him happy. In business with his cousin and her partner, he's doing what he loves. And then one night he meets Jo and everything changes for him. He can't help but rescue the "damsel in distress".

Jo is celebrity royalty. She's grown up with a family who couldn't care less what is happening in her life, as long as it's not reflecting on their image. After her former boyfriend does her wrong, she runs as far as she can to get away from everyone. She didn't expect to run into a drop dead gorgeous, brooding man with a heart of gold. She's starting to realize just what she's been truly missing her entire life.

Fantastic listen! Swoony perfection and all the delectable steaminess that I can't help but want more off. I just can't get this smile off my face, I am beyond excited for the next book in this series.

Another Gallo finds his forever in this sweet, no angst stuck together/soul mates romance. No details from me except to say Nick Gallo is no longer on the menu ladies. Also want to mention that Samantha & Lance did a superb job narrating.

Wow, this book is brilliant. I enjoyed every single word. Both narrators give a fantastic performance, however Samantha is outstanding. This storyline is great. With likeable characters this book is a winner. Highly recommend.
