Summary

Why survive the apocalypse when you can become the apocalypse?

Nature is dying. Perhaps before the world is turned into an industrious machine, nature itself can play one final trump card to save itself.

Summoned to a new world, a mushroom-loving mycologist needs to grow up and grow stronger in order to accomplish the goal that brought them to this new place: to save nature from the system that the sentient races have created.

Stats, levels, classes, and skills are all well and good, but when you're a Child of Poverty in the slums of City Nineteen, there's little you can do to change the world. Not unless you're willing to think outside the box!

Its pretty good, well written and a fun listen, but it didn’t really capture my attention, not enough to get book 2 at least

I really love this series. After a long time of liking all Ravensdaggers books (I’m not sure if narrators are American or Canadian, this one seems English, which was nice but Im good with all 3 accents now because I love your books (I didn’t used to like that in the past) I’ve just been on rocky road…and wow there’s so much to read but I’m old, I’ve gotten lazy, and have tired eyes so audio has become a big thing. I really loved this series, at first..seemed weird, but I love it. This author has so many novels with deep characters who you just fall in love with. There’s a big range, fluff series is great, stray cat strut (my into, and a firm favourite), argatha loop series, crystal genocide brill, ivil antagonist (space element), heart of dorkness (fluff like). I’m gutted that all books are not on audible..oh I forgot Harold…I think I’m going to have to go back to reading because waiting for the next instalments is just too long. Also regardless, of the book, the narrators on all the books are amazing…you will just fall in love with the characters, worlds,:and thier legends.

A dark and wonderful world that catches the interest. Only critique would be that I'm not a huge fan of the baby voice, but still a very enjoyable listen.

I like it and the narro was not the best voice, but i did get use to it after 5 min, i mange to listen to vol 3 and did get the vol 4 that is only ebook at moment
