This is pure McCoy at his best. The story captures his character perfectly and develops a wonderful backstory to the Doctor we know and love. A love story set against the backdrop of assassinations and tragedy.

As an audiobook this is good medicine for your ears. So good that Dr McCoy would prescribe this himself!
