Summary

Following the events of The Last Jedi, Rey struggles to let go of her lonely childhood on the desert planet of Jakku. Hoping to have a breakthrough in her Jedi training, she returns to her home world with Finn and BB-8 in tow. When they meet a young girl on a dangerous mission to save her family, they travel through pitch-black tunnels beneath the sand where they encounter scurrying gnaw-jaws, a haunting terror from the past, and maybe—just maybe—hope for them all.

I have mixed feelings about the new trilogy but this audible was great. showed how good Rey could be given a chance and it told a fun tale. doesn't matter that it's aimed at kids - plenty here to enjoy as an adult. here's hoping for alot more like this...and a Rey movie they've been promising!

This was a fun adventure to see what Rey, Finn, and BB8 are up to, and the narrator was really engaging for this romp. I particularly enjoyed her Rey! The story was a little predictable but not in a bad way - I came here for Star Wars and friendship, and guess what I got? Really enjoying these Star Wars adventures from Audible.

it was just amazing ...the characters felt so real in your mind .I was never a book person I used to watch movie versions but these hold so much more detail ..utterly amazing

Takes a while for the story to get into the swing of things but once it does, about halfway through it's enjoyable. Narration is very good!

As the title says it is a kids book told as if you never saw the star wars movies. And i do not mean kids it is like a mother is telling a bedtime story for a toddler.
