Stars and Stripes 4th of July by Mariana Williams is a fun and easy listen. This lighthearted listen has some endearing characters. I enjoyed the imagery quite well. Michelle Babb was wonderful bringing the characters to life. She adds the right emotions.

This was a fun story made better by Michelle Babbs' narration - she added just the right emotions. The story is in no way serious and I am not sure if I would have read it, but listening to it for me works. I really enjoyed it and will definitely look for more by this author (as well as the narrator) as an audio book.

This was a brilliant story, in places it had me laughing out loud as some of the story is that funny!
She’s a bit of a clutz and has the strangest dreams lol
The characters are all good, but I must admit I was a bit sad to find out about the boys, they were so nice, I thought they sounded to good to true. But at least bob did the right thing in the end!
The narration was excellent too. I highly recommend this book for the fun factor alone.

I wasn't keen on the beginning of this book and nearly dumped it but went back to it after a few weeks and really got into the story. It is an interesting tale set against the backdrop of an Island hotel where Veronica our main character is employed to entertain the guests as well as produce a talent contest. Alongside her job she is trying to write a book about a famous actor who is easily distracted from supplying her with the info she needs to meet the deadline. A dognapping and 2 too good to be true guys all add to the mystery surrounding the place. Michelle Babb both narrates and sings her way through this book making it a very enjoyable listen. *****
