About this listen

Stealing back my start-up idea was bold.

Falling for a billionaire? Totally reckless.

My ex-boss stole my million-dollar concept—and then fired me. So I go back, grab what’s mine, and make an escape.

With security guards on my heels, I dive headfirst into Walker Drummond’s limo. Literally.

Billionaire. Single father. The kind of man whose attention feels dangerous in all the right ways.

When I confess, he doesn’t throw me out. Instead he makes me an offer: be his date, and he’ll consider my pitch.

But beneath the charm and cufflinks is a guarded heart and a firm no-strings policy. And me? I don’t do flings.

Too bad chemistry doesn’t care.

If I’m not careful, the man who doesn’t believe in forever will not only steal my heart…but keep it.

A steamy billionaire romance with a guarded single dad and career-driven heroine from USA Today best-selling and award-winning author S.M. West.

Listen now to this spicy billionaire romance where sparks fly, stakes are high, and hearts are on the line!

S.M. West pens another amazing novel, and the story grabbed my attention from the very start and captivated it straight to the end. Eden Carpenter is trying to get back what is rightfully hers, except she has to find a way in to her old job to retrieve it, not an easy task after being fired. But she gets her foot in the door, finds the opportunity to grab what she came for and almost got out scot free, except security saw what she did and ran after her. Walker Drummond was in his car and he saw the woman in the red dress running and being chased, he lost sight of her, but the next thing he knows she is ducking into his car. Intrigued by her, he hears her out and without getting into precise details, he believes her and gets her out of there. He feels an instant attraction to her, and he asks her to accompany him to an event that night as a return favor. Walker is anti-relationship, he has some serious trust issues after catching his now ex-wife cheating, but there is something about Eden that makes him want to change his stance on relationships. The chemistry between them is undeniable, but Eden is willing to deny herself because she wants someone who can commit to a relationship or give more of themselves than he is offering and when he comes around, it is absolutely explosive between them. Eden is on a mission for justice, she knows that she is not the only one her former boss stole from. Complicating things is that her former boss is friends and occasional business partners with Walker. I loved how everything played out in this book, the complexity of the characters and the layers of the story is fantastic, so is the writing and plotting. There is never a dull moment in the story and it has the perfect balance of drama, angst, some twists, mystery, heartfelt emotions and a steamy romance. S.M. West, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Aaron Sherlock and Jo Raylan did an amazing job bringing these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying and were believable in every role they played. Raylan’s Eden was spot on, grasping every side of her personality, from her strength and determination to her passion. Shedlock nailed it as the swoon worthy Walker, he too grasped all sides of his personality, from his standoffish side and cool, calm demeanor to his fierce side. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and have you feel every single one. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Stealing The Billionaire is my first SM West book, but it won't be my last. I can't wait to go back and listen to more, especially the first three books in this series of standalone romances.

I loved how Walker and Eden met, and their attraction felt very natural. From their first meeting, Eden made a lasting impression on Walker. She impressed him with her wit and business acumen, which is really saying something as Walker is not a man that is easily impressed. These are two sharp, strong characters, driven to achieve, and they match up very well. Their romance is passionate and lasting. Add Walker's son to the mix, and they are a beautiful family.

The audio, narrated by Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan is simply wonderful. They both bring so much emotion to the roles, and capture the personality of their characters. I could listen to them narrate for days.

A satisfying listen

These characters are great. I love the little boy with the cuteness overload. These two definitely tiptoe around each other. A great performance.

I loved this book which begins when Eden Carpenter is attempting to recover her business proposal from her former boss who refuses to give it back. With no solid plan in place, she takes a chance picks up her bag and runs. Pursued by security guards she ends up in the street and dives into an idling limo that's stuck in traffic. The car belongs to Walker Drummond a billionaire.

Walker is quickly intrigued by Eden a woman like no one he has ever met before and suggests she accompany him to a party that evening as his plus one in return he will listen to her business plan and if he thinks it's a good one he'll introduce her to people who can help her get it off the ground. At first, it's all strictly business but Walker wants more and whilst he wants casual Eden is a forever kind of girl. But the more time they spend together the more he realises that perhaps he and Eden could take it one day at a time and see where it goes.

I loved everything about this story it's an emotional rollercoaster ride as Waljer introduces Eden to his affluent world so different from her normal existence, the doubts, insecurities and feelings both of them are feeling are so realistic and relatable. It isn't just Eden and Walker who captivated the listener though it's all their friends who are so supportive of each other, All the characters are well-drawn even the baddies! .

I don't want to give spoilers about the story but what I will say is I loved every minute of this one, its depth, the feelings it evoked and how everything worked out in the end - their road was far from smooth but it's a road I enjoyed travelling with them.

The narration is wonderfully performed by Jo Raylan and Aaron Shedlock their delivery is faultless and moving, embuing all the characters with depth and bringing them to life in what seems to be an effortless performance.

This is the fourth book in the 6ix Loves Series. Eden and Walker's instant attraction, and slow burn romance, is funny, passionate, and heartwarming. I loved Eden. She is sunshine, sassy, smart, strong, and determined. Walker, a billionaire, and single Dad, is handsome and protective. They are opposites attract, and they complement each other. Their push-pull relationship is filled with miscommunication, insecurities, and jealousy. I liked Walker's son. The supporting characters are great. Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it.
